Shane McMahon Undergoes Successful Surgery
Shane McMahon has undergone successful surgery on his leg after his WrestleMania mishap.
At WrestleMania, Shane McMahon made his return to the company for an impromptu match with The Miz. However, very quickly into the match, Shane would go up for a leapfrog, coming down hard on his leg, resulting in the match being stopped for what would later to be revealed as a torn quad.
PW Insider noted that Shane McMahon was flown to Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday. It would appear that he underwent surgery at the Andrew Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center this week.
Shane is expected to be out of action for around a year, but it is unknown if he will ever wrestle under the WWE banner again. Fans have been quick to note that Shane’s father Vince has also struggled with quad injuries in the past.
We will have to wait and see what comes next for Shane O Mac.
