Drew McIntyre has been mysteriously pulled from both SmackDown and a meet and greet in Portland.

The WWE star’s contract is set to expire later this year, but it is believed internally that he could very well stay with the company and sign a new deal by the time his current one is set to expire. McIntyre most recently competed at WrestleMania 39, losing in a triple threat match for the Intercontinental Championship, eating the pinfall in the match.

Now, PW Insider Elite reports that Drew has been pulled from this week’s SmackDown as well as a meet and greet in Portland. McIntyre was originally scheduled for the show.

Drew McIntyre was scheduled to make an appearance during tonight’s WWE SmackDown, but it seems he has been removed from the lineup. In addition to that, McIntyre was also scheduled for a local autograph signing event at a Cricket Wireless store in the area, but he was pulled from that event as well.

It was also noted in the report that Gunther would replace Drew in the meet and greet. Bodyslam.net will continue to keep fans updated on what comes next for the Scottish Warrior.
