It appears the original plans for a WWE draft after WrestleMania have fallen apart during the WWE sale process and the uncertainty of who is in charge of WWE creative.
The rumors of a WWE draft have been rampant since Triple H took charge of WWE creative last year in the wake of Vince McMahon’s retirement. However, with McMahon returning to power within the company and the sale to Endeavor, McMahon is now back in control of WWE creative as of this writing.
Fightful Select have provided an update on the WWE draft and if talent have heard of one coming soon.
A draft that would have effectively reset the rosters for the new Triple H regime was rumored late last year, however talent were told that it was being moved to an undetermined time in 2023. However, Fightful Select can confirm that unanimously across over a dozen talent on the WWE roster have not been told that a WWE Draft is coming, or when it could even be. There were numerous WWE talent that said that in discussing it with others, they “just assume it would happen after WrestleMania” as it did many times in the past. As of Friday afternoon, talent still hadn’t been told about one. In the past, sources at both Fox and USA Network had told Fightful that they primarily prefer distinctly different and separate rosters in order to specialize their investment. However, since the Triple H regime took shape, we’ve heard much less of that.

We will have to wait and see when we will get another draft, but as we are in uncertain times creatively with the promotion, it is unlikely we will have an announcement any time soon.
