Mercedes Mone believes some women’s wrestling matches are too short in the modern era.
Mone is currently the IWGP Women’s World Champion, defeating former champion KAIRI to capture the championship. Mone has an upcoming title defense and as such, has been doing media.
AZM is the current High Speed Champion for World of Stardom. She apparently rubbed Mercedes Mone the wrong way, because the CEO of NJPW’s women’s division decided to lash out at her during a recent press conference.
And AZM, if I wanted to come for that High Speed Championship, I would sweetheart in a second, okay? I am very used to wrestling 3-minute matches, 5-minute matches, so I can snatch that title from you as well.

We will have to wait and see what happens when AZM gets her match with the former “Boss”. Mercedes has also recently commented on working with AEW at Forbidden Door 2.
