Ric Flair Says Endeavor Will Do Better If They Keep Vince McMahon Involved
Vince McMahon may not be most fans favorite person, but Ric Flair would be happy to see Vince stick around.
Over WrestleMania weekend, Endeavor purchased WWE and announced they planned to merge the company with the UFC. With that purchase, Vince McMahon was placed in power of WWE programming under the Endeavor umbrella.
While many fans are not happy to see this happen, Ric Flair on the other hand is thrilled to see McMahon back in power.
Speaking on his To Be The Man podcast, Flair commented on the news and expressed his hope that McMahon will still be allowed to run WWE.
“I just personally hope that the McMahon family… he is still allowed to run the WWE. Because god forbid we have another situation where Turner buys the NWA. That turned into the worst case scenario ever,”
“It all depends on who’s ego, who’s doing what. But if they don’t keep Vince involved and let him help them make creative decisions, I don’t think they’ll be as successful as they would be with him. People say they’re upset with Vince. I didn’t see anybody upset with him. There’s always gonna be people that are complaining about their position in the company because they’re not where they want to be or they think they should be, but that’s not the fault of Hunter or Vince. Some people have a pretty high opinion of themselves that they should keep to themselves, rather than complain publicly, in my opinion,”

Vince McMahon may not be wanted back by the broader WWE audience, but it looks like he will be here to stay. However, recent reports have suggested that SmackDown will be back under Triple H’s running tonight.
