WWE And Jay White Reportedly Never Got Past Preliminary Talks

It appears WWE may have had significant interest and confidence in signing Jay White, but it appears they only got to preliminary talks.

White returned to AEW Dynamite this week, attacking Ricky Starks alongside Juice Robinson. It was a shock to many, as it appeared WWE was the destined signing spot for Jay. However, this would not be the case.

Ringside News now reports that the star never got past preliminary talks with WWE.

We were told that some heard about preliminary talks with Jay White, “and it never got past that stage.”

We previously reported that White’s AEW deal will be a multi year deal and that there were tentative plans in place creatively in WWE.
