WWE Planning To Complete Saudi Arabia Deal Despite Endeavor Previously Ending Business Relationships With The Country
WWE will honor the terms of their deal with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia despite Endeavor previously pulling out of deals with the country.
Saudi Arabia as a nation has a sketchy past in terms of human rights, recently murdering a journalist in a case heard around the world. This case would actually make Endeavor end their working relationships with the nation.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the current expectation is for Endeavor to ride out WWE’s 10-year deal with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“Given that Emanuel and Endeavor pulled out of their business relationships with Saudi Arabia years ago after the murder of reporter Jamal Khashoggi, the belief from WWE is that the current deal will continue through the terms of the current contract, which was for 20 events in total.”

While the report does not mention if the deal will be renewed when it is up, it is believed that Endeavor will once again cut ties with the Kingdom.
