Ric Flair Provides An Update On How Charlotte Flair Is Doing After Physical WrestleMania Match
Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley went to war at WrestleMania 39 in a brutal matchup that more than delivered to the hype.
One spot that made many fans cringe was a suplex spot that ended with Charlotte landing nose first on the mat, leaving a small cut on Charlotte’s face but otherwise left her ok to continue the matchup.
While speaking on his “To Be The Man” podcast, Ric Flair would provide an update on how her daughter is doing after the physical match.
“She’s fine. She’s got a bruise on her nose and black eye, but between that and the slugfest they had, I’m telling you, it was great. My hat’s off to Rhea Ripley. She let Ashley hit her as hard as I used to hit Steamboat, and that’s what makes it real, as opposed to Seth Rollins [and] Logan Paul, laying on their backs, side by side, and slapping each other in the chest. Come on, they’re both better than that. That looked bad compared to Ashley chopping Rhea. Come on. Let’s get serious,”

Rhea Ripley would end up defeating Charlotte with an Avalanche Riptide. After the match, Charlotte was spotted smiling outside the ring, clearly satisfied with the match she had just competed in.
Charlotte is expected to take another hiatus from WWE, to possibly pursue bodybuilding.
Flair elsewhere in his podcast mentioned that he feels Rhea and Charlotte had the match of the show at WrestleMania 39.
