It was recently reported that WWE had installed a hiring freeze since Vince McMahon’s return to WWE, but it appears that those reports were just rumors.
Dave Meltzer discussed the topic in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, where he would state that WWE is “business as usual”.
There is also no hiring freeze as has been reported in many places. WWE is still business as usual when it comes to hiring and in talks with new significant performers

These rumors began shortly after Jay White chose to sign with AEW rather than WWE, but it appears that they were only just that: rumors.
