Jon Moxley has an extension of creative control for his opponents in AEW.
Moxley has been one of the standard bearers in AEW since his debut with the promotion, and feels like he has faced off with everyone on the roster. He is also the only AEW star to have over 100 wins in the promotion as of this writing.
While speaking to Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Renee Paquette admitted that Jon Moxley has been picking a lot of his matches recently.
“I also feel like, in the last however many years, he’s kind of been more or less handpicking what his matches were going to be and who his opponents were going to be,”

Moxley is currently a part of the Blackpool Combat Club in the promotion along with Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. The faction is currently in a storyline with The Elite and are expected to eventually have a match involving both factions soon.
