Mike Bailey: Veda Scott Is Mindful, And Her Commentary Is Very Detailed And Attentive

Veda Scott is one of the most traveled independent wrestling commentators. Scott has already provided commentary for promotions such as Prestige Wrestling, West Coast Pro, GCW, Garden State Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling REVOLVER, and Hoodslam in 2023.

Scott is married to a fellow business member, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey. In a new interview with Fightful, Bailey gave Scott her flowers as a commentator, emphasizing how much she cares and how much time and attention she puts into her analysis.

“Veda cares so much. As a fem presenting person, they know the perspective of what it can be like to have commentary on your match and you have a match that you love. Then you go back and you watch it, and it’s like, ‘This is rough.’ Because it’s easy to say the wrong things and stray from the story. But Veda just cares so much and there’s so much technique and detail and attention behind their commentary. You know how people used to go to baseball games and have the commentary in their ears? I always go wireless ear buds, right? So imagine there’s a GCW app that broadcasts the commentary audio so you can be watching the show with Veda in your ear. This might cancel that. But still I know a lot of people that tell us, ‘I was at the show and I couldn’t wait to get home so I could watch it with the commentary.’ Which I think is absolutely fantastic and fully deserved for Veda.”
