Eric Bischoff like many are worried about the future of WWE creative.

With Vince McMahon returning to power in the now Endeavor owned WWE, many have worried about how much influence the former boss now has with the promotion, including creatively.

While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff would discuss Cody’s loss, noting that he felt like WWE could lose momentum creatively going forward.

”I’m a little concerned about what’s gonna happen in WWE, creatively. Everybody was talking about ‘WrestleMania, WrestleMania, WrestleMania. Cody/Roman, Cody/Roman, Cody/Roman,’ I was excited about that as well, but I was more excited, truthfully, about where WWE was going to go after WrestleMania, because to me the stage was set, there was so much great story there. It was like watching the Kentucky Derby, where my favorite part of the Kentucky Derby is when they bring the horses into the paddock, they’re fired up, ready to go, they just want to frickin’ run, but you gotta get them into that starting gate.

That’s the way I felt about WWE creative going into WrestleMania. I’m hoping the WWE doesn’t lose creative momentum. I think it’s time for WWE creative to evolve.”

Road Dogg recently stated that Cody Rhodes losing was smart business, while many in the industry have panned the decision not to crown Cody as the top guy in WWE.
