When Nia Jax broke Becky Lynch’s face a few years back, she helped produce one of the most iconic images of the modern era as Becky Lynch was solidified as the badass fans knew she was.
While speaking with Ring The Belle, Nia Jax recalled the nasty accident. Nia would mention how she panicked initially, trying to make contact with Becky after the incident.
“When that happened, like on a personal level, I was horrified. I was completely horrified. It was a pure freaking accident and I went backstage and the doctors were around her. They didn’t want us around but I was making sure she was okay. I was freaking out and then I ran into her, like, she went and got checked out and then I called her and she was like, ‘You know, it’s okay, it’s probably gonna help me,’ and I was like, ‘Oh! I didn’t think of it that way.’”

Despite the storyline tension that came from this, it appears that behind the scenes there was no tension between Jax and Lynch after the incident. Like Lynch said, it would go on to help solidify her spot at the top of the WWE Women’s division.
