Booker T would like to see a midcard championship be added to NXT’s Women’s Division.
The NXT Women’s division has been red hot for quite some time now. They currently have two championships, one for tag teams and the primary women’s championship on the brand. While there have been calls for a secondary women’s championship on the WWE main roster, it has yet to happen. Now, Booker T would like to see WWE add another title to NXT.
While speaking on The Hall of Fame with Booker T & Brad Gilmore podcast, Booker T discussed the possibility of having a second women’s singles championship in NXT. Booker would like to see the title be introduced to add more stakes for the women who challenge for it.
“I don’t see that being a bad thing just because right now they just have the tag team championship and the singles championship. The thing is, you have so many ladies in NXT right now that perhaps need that belt, that television championship to launch their career a little bit.”

We will have to wait and see if Shawn Michaels listens to Booker and decides to debut a new championship for the deep women’s roster on WWE’s developmental brand.
