Justin Roberts will not be performing ring announcer duties at tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
Roberts has quickly become a fan favorite within AEW as a ring announcer, lending his iconic voice to the promotion. Roberts has recent experience announcing for WWE before he joined AEW, so even those outside the AEW umbrella are familiar with Justin’s announcing.
Now, Roberts will miss tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite due to testing positive for Covid-19.
“The look when you’re absolutely..positive [sic] you can’t fly to work for a few more days,” Roberts wrote in the post’s caption. “Social distancing from ‘Dynamite’ tomorrow like it’s 2020, look forward to watching on TBS 8/7PM and getting back next week!”
