Due To A Rib injury, Hiroshi Tanahashi Will Miss The NJPW Road To Wrestling Dontaku shows.
Hiroshi Tanahashi has been removed from several NJPW Road to Dontaku events.
On April 15, Tanahashi suffered a rib injury at NJPW Capital Collision. As a result, he was unable to compete the following day at NJPW Collision in Philadelphia.
Tanahashi will not compete in several forthcoming Road to Wrestling Dontaku events, beginning on April 20, according to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and his return date has yet to be set.

At Capital Collision on April 15, Hiroshi Tanahashi sustained a rib injury, and was absent from the following night’s Collision in Philadelphia. After examination it has been determined that Tanahashi will be absent from forthcoming events on the Road to Dontaku Series starting today, April 20 in Nara, with a return date to be determined.

Tanahashi is slated to face Will Ospreay in the opening round of the IWGP United States Championship Number One Contender’s Tournament on May 21 at NJPW Resurgence.
