It appears that if we were to see NXT involved in the WWE draft, they will be sending stars out with nothing back in return.
NXT have historically been involved in previous drafts, with the events serving as high profile call ups from WWE’s developmental brand. This year, it appears that this may still be the case. However, it does not look like any main roster stars will be going the other direction, per Ringside News.
Ringside News asked around about WWE’s plan for the 2023 Draft, specifically about any notion to send WWE Superstars to NXT. We were told that no WWE main roster Superstar will be swapped onto NXT during the 2023 WWE Draft.

It would not be out of the realms of possibility to see main roster stars be drafted to NXT – as over the last few years several talents have gone down for second runs on the brand, with Dolph Ziggler also dropping down for a run as NXT Champion.
