Recently, Billie Starkz was called upon to challenge Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship.
The clash took place on the most recent AEW Battle Of The Belts and although Starkz was competitive, she would still fall to Cargill. However, she seemed to have impressed the right people as it would soon be reported that she had been signed by AEW.
Speaking to Wrestling With Honor, Starkz talked about her experience against Cargill.
“It was a last minute opportunity but one I’m so happy I had. It’s definitely a rush to be on live tv in front of that large of a crowd,”

Starkz has previously competed on other AEW programs before this opportunity, and also recently quit her job at a daycare to further focus on school and wrestling.
