Goldberg made a lot of money with WWE, no more so than when he worked an event in the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia.
Goldberg has been used sparingly over the last few years, usually being saved for WWE’s trips to Saudi Arabia. He competed on multiple events in the kingdom, most recently wrestling Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2022 in a losing effort.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Goldberg earned a lot of money whenever he worked a show in Saudi Arabia.
“Goldberg made so much money for so few matches in his WWE deal, reportedly $2 million for each of his Saudi Arabia matches, and for AEW, that kind of money per match simply isn’t cost-effective.”

Goldberg is in the process of currently planning his own retirement tour, with at least one stop seemingly on the cards already. We will have to wait and see if Goldberg’s retirement tour once again takes him to the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia in the near future.
