It looks like fans will have to wait a few weeks to see the Scottish Warrior back on WWE TV.
McIntyre has missed the last two SmackDowns, which is rare for the former WWE Champion. It was initially reported that Drew is banged up and is recovering from injuries. However, now we may have a timetable on when to expect him back in WWE.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter included a note about Drew McIntyre, mentioning that he will be out of action for a few weeks yet.
McIntyre won’t be in action at least the next few weeks and there is nothing else new right now on his situation. He was also not advertised for the 7/7 Smackdown taping in Madison Square Garden, nor was Reigns. His contract has months to go and there’s been no change in that situation past the sides were far apart on money

McIntyre last competed at WrestleMania 39, losing a triple threat match also involving GUNTHER and Sheamus. Drew would take the pinfall in the match after two powerbombs from GUNTHER.
