Recently, WWE shifted the theme of their next Saudi Arabia show, which was originally scheduled to be King Of The Ring. They would change it to Night Of Champions with little information as to why.
It is expected that all titles will be defended at the event, which produces several problems with the current roster, including Sami Zayn holding one half of the WWE Tag Team Championships.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the reason for WWE’s decision to change up the upcoming Saudi Arabian event will become very clear in time.
Regarding the reason the 5/27 show in Saudi Arabia was changed from King & Queen of the Ring to Night of Champions was a booking decision. We were told it will become obvious why after the Puerto Rico show and in the build to the show

Many fans were disappointed to see King Of The Ring be dropped, but there has yet to be confirmation on if the tournament will still occur in the next month or so.
