Jeff Hardy is still not quite ring ready just yet.
Hardy recently returned to AEW after a stint in rehab following a DUI incident last year and would be suspended pending his completion of rehab. Hardy recently returned to the aid of his brother, HOOK and more recently and will be part of an upcoming match at The Hardy Compound vs The Firm.
Fightful Select now reports that Hardy is not scheduled to wrestle before the match at The Hardy Compound. They also noted some outside of AEW found out about Jeff’s return days beforehand.
Jeff Hardy wasn’t expected to have an in-ring match before the Compound Match, at least as of his return. There were some outside of AEW who had learned he was returning a couple of days prior.

Hardy of course also recently had eye surgery, so he may not be ready for a full match just yet. With the Hardy Compound match being more than likely cinematic, Jeff will have minimal risk in the controlled environment. We will have to wait and see when Jeff will return to the ring for a traditional match.
