Bianca Belair wanted to once cut off her signature braid but her husband convinced her otherwise.
Bianca Belair is one of the top women’s stars in WWE and can be recognized immediately by her signature braid that she always has. However, at one point Belair considered cutting it out.
While talking to Kevin Hart’s Cold as Balls, Bianca Belair admitted that she almost cut off her braid until Montez Ford explained that people would remember her just off her braid alone, so she decided to keep it.
“My husband, who I met in WWE, Montez Ford, he’s one half of the Street Profits, a tag team, he’s been watching wrestling since he was in his momma’s womb.
“He was the one that talked me into keeping the braid. He was like ‘if somebody comes to a show for the first time, they’ll remember the girl with the braid.’”

Belair is the current RAW Women’s Champion, holding the title for over a year now. She is scheduled to face IYO SKY for the title at a later date.
