Joey Janela, a Florida Man and a Proud American, Sings for Hulk Hogan (and for Tucker Carlson)
Joey Janela is not just a wrestler. He’s a performance artist. The dude lives his gimmick more than Brian Pillman in ’97. He proved this a couple years ago when he infiltrated a Seminole County School Board Meeting to troll former wrestler/referee Drake Wuertz and other parents during that weird period of time when parents were upset about mask mandates for their children, even though wearing masks literally saved lives.
But. Ya know. Liberty or whatever.
Janela infiltrated the school board meeting, even getting some mic time where he…well…this is what he said…
Many people who were present at the event (including Wuertz) believed Janela was who he said he was; namely, a ‘Florida Man’ who was ‘Frustrated’ by the mask mandate. And now it appears that Janela’s ‘Florida Man’ character has returned,this time infiltrating Hulk Hogan’s Florida bar and grill, ‘Hogan’s Hangout.’
Not content to just speak to the WWE legend, and noted racist, Janela instead wanted to serenade the former champion. Hogan’s Hangout is known for its bonkers karaoke parties, and Janela signed up to sing a song that would truly make the ‘Real American’ proud.
Janela dedicated his performance to Tucker Carlson who, earlier that day, had been unceremoniously fired from Fox News. And before the opening notes, Janela also urged to the crowd to join in with his chants of the revered MAGA go-to, ‘Let’s Go Brandon.’
And then, he fist bumped Hulk Hogan, took the microphone, and sang his little heart out to the Lee Greenwood’s ‘God Bless the USA.’
The man TOOK FOOD OFF OF HULK HOGAN’S PLATE. And The Hulkster did not seem amused; nor did his girlfriend and his friend-cum-lackey Brian Knobbs. Janela made it through the song without taking a big boot but, by the looks of it, he came very close to getting kicked out of the restaurant.
Worth it.
Staying true to character, at the end of the video Janela urged all of his fellow Americans to boycott Bud Light.
Like a real American would do.
