Konnan doesn’t think Jon Moxley is on Roman Reigns’ level.
Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley have been near the top of their respective companies for some time now. With Moxley becoming a multi time AEW World Champion and Roman Reigns holding the Universal Championship for almost 1000 days, they have both arguments to be made to being the top guys in all of wrestling over the last few years.
However, one wrestling figure that does not agree these two belong in the same conversation is Konnan.
During Keeping It 100, Konnan discussed Roman Reigns’ current run in WWE. He cut someone off by saying that The Tribal Chief needs the Usos. He would then note that Jon Moxley will never be on Roman Reigns’ level.
“You sound like a mark, by the way, when you say ‘Oh, he needs the Usos.’ Bro, that’s an instrument to generate heat. Okay? But Roman’s been great at what he’s done. It’s [The Bloodline] is one of the best, if not the best storyline of the last twenty years of this business. (…) I don’t know enough about Okada and I don’t think [Jon] Moxley is doing what Reigns is doing, and to me Roman is the man right now.”

Roman Reigns remains the WWE Universal Champion in WWE in WWE, and will take those titles to whichever brand he is Drafted to in the upcoming WWE Draft.
Moxley on the other hand is feuding with The Elite alongside The Blackpool Combat Club in AEW.
