Roxanne Perez Discusses Her Royal Rumble 2023 Appearance, Notes It Was One Of Her Dream Matches Growing Up

Roxanne Perez loved having the chance to compete in a Royal Rumble match earlier this year.

Entering the Rumble match back in January, Roxanne would not last long in the match but certainly left an impression on the WWE universe.

In a new interview with Fightful, the former NXT Women’s Champion reflected on her appearance in the match, noting that it was a match she always wanted to be a part of.

“Yeah, honestly Money in the Bank, Royal Rumble and WrestleMania were my top dream matches when I was a kid. So when they told me, ‘Hey, you’re gonna be in the Royal Rumble,’ I was like, ‘It’s my first year here. This is insane.’ I feel like it’s so much to process, but like I said, I’m trying to take in every moment as much as I can. Especially in that Royal Rumble, when I made my entrance, I was like, ‘I have to look everywhere, take it all in.’ It’s so cool the moments that you get to have in professional wrestling. It’s amazing.”

Perez is one of the several NXT talents that are expected to be brought up to the WWE main roster in the upcoming Draft. We will have to wait and see what happens next for the prodigy.
