The 2023 Royal Rumble May Have Been Tamina Snuka’s Last
The 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble may have been Tamina Snuka’s last.
Tamina Snuka is one of the longest performing veterans on the WWE roster, holding the Women’s tag team championships. She has also been a staple of women’s royal rumble matches since 2018, but her appearance in the 2023 edition of the match may have been her swansong.
Nia Jax revealed during an appearance on Busted Open Radio that Tamina had told her it might be her last Royal Rumble, which enticed her to be a part of the match this year, returning at number 30.
“It’s funny because with the previous Rumble, I was not going to come back. I was asked to come back, and I was like, ‘Absolutely not.’ I wasn’t there.
“But this last one, my cousin Tamina and I talked about it and she said it might be her last one, and I was like, ‘Well, frick, if that’s going to be Tamina’s last Rumble, I definitely want to be a part of it,’ if they wanted me to be a part of it.”

Tamina Snuka is a long time veteran, competing in WWE for over a decade. Hopefully she gets her rightful swan song from the ring in a prominent storyline when she does decide to retire.
