Adam Cole Discusses the Alarming Brain Test Results Following the AEW Forbidden Door Concussion
After a nine-month sabbatical, AEW star Adam Cole returned to the ring late last month, defeating Daniel Garcia on the March 29 episode of “AEW Dynamite.”
Cole’s absence was caused by a pair of severe concussions in a short period of time, and his recuperation has been documented on “AEW All Access” throughout the last month. Cole spoke to Sports Illustrated about his condition following the two concussions and shared some further information.
“Two months after my concussion at Forbidden Door, I was seeing a brain doctor three times a week. After two months of not being cleared for anything but going for walks, I took this brain test. I had to move my head back and forth, and there was a letter E moving up, down, left, or right. I had to say which direction it was facing. Pro athletes are supposed to score a 120. I scored a 38.”

We will have to wait and see what comes next for Adam Cole after Roderick Strong’s recent debut.
