Roderick Strong made his AEW debut last night, and that apparently came as a major shock to some in WWE.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that Roderick Strong’s AEW debut “shocked” a lot of people in WWE. Very few knew Strong’s contract status, so many were surprised to see him in another promotion.
That was a shock to a lot people in WWE. I know that there were people who knew his contract was up, but most people didn’t know that.

Strong has not been around the WWE Performance Center for quite some time, and was also removed from WWE 2K23 at the request of WWE.
