Booker T Wants To See A Secondary Title For Women In WWE
Booker T wants to see women have a midcard championship sooner rather than later.
While other promotions have secondary championships for their women, WWE have been steadfast in keeping just the individual women’s world titles, with no midcard championships like the men have.
WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T addressed this issue while speaking to Fox News.
“We should have a mid-card belt for the ladies, almost like a television championship where it’s not competing with the Women’s NXT Championship, just to give someone else a little bit of a rub, a little bit of shine, as well as a little bit of something to work for because it always gonna be a while before you work your way to that big goal,”
Fox News
Booker is currently commentating on NXT, another brand that has just one singles championship for a division full of talent.
We will have to wait and see if this secondary championship could be coming soon to the WWE women’s division.
