Roxanne Perez discusses being scanned for WWE 2K23.
The former NXT Women’s Champion is one of the hottest prodigies in professional wrestling. She most recently challenged for the title she used to hold on Tuesday’s NXT. Roxanne also made her video game debut in WWE 2K23, which released last month.
In a new interview with Fightful, Roxanne revealed that despite doing scans for the game, she wasn’t sure if she would be in the finished product of the game.
“So, they did do scans. But they told us, ‘Hey, we don’t know for sure if you’re gonna be in the game, but just do a scan in case.’ So I was like, ‘Alright. Hopefully I’m in the game,’ and then I saw the announcement and I was like, ‘This is insane.’ I did a press conference and I was able to play the game as myself for the first time. I literally almost started crying because I was like, ‘This is insane to see myself in a WWE video game,’ games I used to play growing up as a kid nonstop. It’s insane.”

Roxanne could possibly see herself involved in this week’s WWE draft, beginning on tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
