The former WWE Champion will remain in NXT for some time.
While his run in NXT was originally only supposed to be a short run, it has turned into a full time role for Mahal, something he is more than familiar with. Mahal has repeatedly found himself on the black and gold brand over the years.
Fightful Select made a note last night that Mahal is now a full time NXT talent with regards to the WWE Draft.
Mahal is considered full-time as an NXT talent now and was not included in the Draft pool.

Several WWE superstars have made their way down to NXT over the years, sharing their wealth of knowledge with the future superstars of WWE. New Day, Dolph Ziggler and AJ Styles are just some named to follow this trend that Jinder Mahal has joined recently.
