It was a bizarre moment for Stokely Hathaway after wrestling the son of the Human Suplex Machine.
On the March 22nd edition of AEW Dynamite. HOOK retained the FTW Championship after defeating Hathaway in a no-disqualifications match at the Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri.
“It was pretty surreal, because I remember watching Taz in ECW and watching his WWF debut during the Royal Rumble and years later, I’m wrestling his son, it’s just bizarre,” Hathaway said on “Talk Is Jericho” recently
This was the first match Hathaway had competed in since 2019 when he fought and lost to Orange Cassidy for the IWTV Independent Wrestling Championship in an IWTV Grammys Street Fight.
