The city of Orlando are preparing to make their case to host the 2024 Royal Rumble premium live event.
WESH 2 reports The Tourist Development Tax Sports Incentive Committee will request $850,000 for the Greater Orlando Sports Commission to bid on the 2024 Royal Rumble. The bid is scheduled to be made on May 2nd.
The bid will hope to make Camping World Stadium the home of the Royal Rumble on January 27th, 2024. Orange County leaders say attendance for the Royal Rumble is estimated at nearly 54,000 people. The stadium has previously used by WWE for WrestleMania 33, which brought an immense amount of money to the region.
We will have to wait and see if WWE accepts this bid for the 2024 Royal Rumble.
