The leader of the LWO feels like he is ready to become a world champion in WWE.
Santos Escobar is a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion and has been the leader of the LWO since they were known as Legado Del Fantasma in NXT. Now, he is on SmackDown and has been stealing the show whenever he steps foot inside the squared circle on the blue brand.
Speaking to Phil Strum on Under The Ring, Escobar said he believes he’s ready for the big gold.
“I just saw Triple H announce a new championship. I feel ready for that. That’s how high my note is right now,”

We will have to wait and see how long WWE wait before pulling the trigger on pushing Santos as the next top lucha libre star.
