After Suffering A Torn Adductor Muscle, Alex Hammerstone Says That He Is Now Able To Wrestle
Alex Hammerstone has been given permission to compete.
Hammerstone previously acknowledged to having a torn adductor muscle. On April 6, the injury occurred during the War Chamber match at MLW War Chamber. Hammerstone, Matthew Justice, Mance Warner, and 1 Called Manders fought The Calling (Rickey Shane Page, AKIRA, Delirious, and Doctor Cornwallis) in the War Chamber match.
The injury led Hammerstone to leave the match, and The Calling won. Hammerstone then fought briefly at the MLW Battle Riot tapings on April 8, but hasn’t wrestled since.
The defending MLW World Heavyweight Champion stated on May 7 via Twitter that he is cleared to wrestle and is accepting bookings for the weekend of May 12-14.

Alex Hammerstone injury during the REELZ premiere of the War Chamber match on Tuesday night. Due to his injuries, he was forced to leave the match early, which resulted in much of the planned contest being edited out, including the finale and aftermath.
Backstage and with MLW, Rickey Shane Page received a lot of credit for changing on the fly and making things work. He was brought in to operate as both an agent and a wrestler.
At MLW Never Say Never, Hammerstone will defend his MLW World Heavyweight Championship against Alex Kane.
Court Bauer, the CEO of MLW, revealed that MLW Never Say Never is going to air on FITE on July 8.
