Brian Kendrick recently revealed that his role within WWE was helping Bad Bunny get ready for WWE Backlash 2023.
After the Backlash premium live event, Fightful Select reported on the role Brian Kendrick played in the San Juan Street Fight. It was reported by Fightful Select that although Kendrick did not produce the match between the two, he played a large role in the process of getting Bunny ready for the match.
On the latest edition of the Hitting The Turnbuckle podcast; Brian Kendrick came on and confirmed the report that Fightful Select had reported. Kendrick stated that he came on board because he had helped Bunny during his first match at WWE WrestleMania 37.
Kendrick noted that both Bad Bunny and Logan Paul are motivated and that both of them want to be good at wrestling.
“Yeah, I haven’t met Logan but I think both of them are very motivated. They want to be good at this. I know Bunny put in a lot of training, he was training for months. I thought the match was awesome.”
Bad Bunny recently reflected on the great match at WWE Backlash in a post via Instagram.
