Thunder Rosa explains why she decides to only paint half of her face prior.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion is a warrior, that’s for sure. She shows this in her war paint that she wears when she makes her way to the ring and in her vicious in ring style.
While speaking to RJ City on Hey-EW, Thunder Rosa explained why she only paints half of her face, rather than all of it like some stars do.
[A promoter] said, ‘Use the face paint because we need to get more Latino fans. And then I put it on and he’s like, ‘You’re too pretty and you should use half of it.

Thunder Rosa is currently out of action with a serious back injury and relinquished the AEW Women’s World Title after AEW All Out 2022. She recently returned on AEW Dynamite, but there is still no timetable for her return.
