Ortiz wants to take advantage of the fact AEW has working relationships with multiple different companies in the wrestling industry.
In a new interview with WhatCulture, Ortiz was asked about the concept of the Forbidden Door in wrestling and how he would like to compete in other promotions that AEW work with.
“I personally want to take advantage of all these working relationships we have, with New Japan, with NOAH, with DDT, stuff like that. Going back to Mexico, doing some AAA stuff. So, I like playing both ends. I’m a very even person, so I can do both, but there will be moments where I have a fire lit underneath my ass and I wanna do something more. Finding that spot and finding that balance, people have to navigate it, not just in wrestling but life.”

Ortiz has not wrestled in AAA since 2019, so it will be interesting to see if he gets a chance to compete in any of these promotions in the not so distant future.
We will have to wait and see what comes next for Ortiz.
