Booker T understands why Vince McMahon wants to stay WWE Chairman till he dies.
While speaking on the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about Vince McMahon’s clause about remaining the WWE Chairman till death. This news was revealed recently in WWE filings. This is something that has worried many fans due to their desire for Vince to step away once again from the company.
“‘Look, I ain’t going nowhere, you know. Do they put me in the ground, just forget about (…) Let’s not even think about doing something like that ever again.’ That’s what that means. So, hey, I get it. I always say, man, when it’s yours, how [is] somebody gonna tell you out when you built it? That’s a hard hard pill to swallow. You know, it really is. So, I don’t blame the man for putting the clause in there and making sure he’s solidified in that position forevermore.”

We will have to wait and see if McMahon decides to honor this clause in his contract or if he will end up stepping away in the future.
