Grayson Waller was one of the top superstars in NXT during his time there and although he did not capture the NXT Championship while on the developmental brand, he made multiple challenges for the championship.
Waller also had the chance to work with Shawn Michaels in a feud that ended up having him face with Johnny Gargano, Waller’s long time rival in NXT.
Waller expressed gratitude via Fox Sports Australia for getting the chance to be able to work with Shawn.
“No one in recent years can say that they were in the ring with Shawn Michaels. Even though it wasn’t in a wrestling capacity, like I wanted, that’s one of the greatest of all time and I was in there. And that doesn’t happen. So that was very big for me.”

Waller will be interviewing a former rival of his in AJ Styles on this week’s SmackDown on the Grayson Waller Effect.
