Grayson Waller Was Not Happy He And Johnny Gargano Did Not Main Event NXT Stand And Deliver

Grayson Waller was one of the top superstars in NXT during his time there and although he did not capture the NXT Championship while on the developmental brand, he made multiple challenges for the championship.

Waller also had the chance to work with Shawn Michaels in a feud that ended up having him face with Johnny Gargano, Waller’s long time rival in NXT.

Waller spoke to Fox Sports Australia about his match with Gargano, noting he was disappointed that the match did not main event NXT Stand And Deliver earlier this year.

“I took umbrage with the fact that I wasn’t the main event. I was upset about it. And I went out there to prove people wrong, to go out there and say, ‘I’m the best in NXT, hands down,’”

Waller is now a member of the SmackDown roster and will be hosting the Grayson Waller Effect on this week’s SmackDown with guest AJ Styles.
