CM Punk: I Get The Tribalism, But You Don’t Know Me, You Don’t Know Anybody Else, Go Touch Grass

CM Punk just wants those who take pro wrestling too seriously to go outside and touch some grass.

It’s been months since the Brawl Out incident between Punk, the Young Bucks, Ace Steel, Kenny Omega, and others. AEW recently announced AEW Collision which will be debuting on June 17th.

A photo that had been pulled showed Punk on it which made people who don’t see the sun go on a social media frenzy. This would bring Punk out of hibernation as he said in a recent video:

“The parasocial relationship a lot of fringe wrestling fans have with certain people is really unhealthy. I get the tribalism, it’s fun to root for your team, but picking sides seems a little silly. You don’t know me, you don’t know anybody else. So, go touch grass.”

Omega has asked for fans to let go of their bitterness over the situation so that everyone can heal. It is not yet known when Punk will be making his return to television for All Elite Wrestling.
