Bronson Reed Explains Why He Turned Down NJPW Deal To Sign With WWE

Bronson Reed explains why he decided to sign with WWE and not re-sign with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

When Bronson was released from WWE, he headed to other promotions as JONAH. During this run, he made his way to NJPW where he would step into the ring with some of the top talent in the world, defeating Kazuchika Okada and more.

While speaking on Out Of Character with Ryan Satin, Bronson Reed stated that he felt as if he stamped his name in NJPW following his match with Okada.

“That chapter is shut, and now I’m back in WWE and I want to do the same thing. I want to come to WWE and wrestle guys like Bobby Lashley, maybe future world champions, and things like that. Stamp the Bronson Reed name here in WWE

I got to ‘NXT,’ I had become North American Champion, but I never got to be on a ‘Raw’ or a ‘SmackDown’ or do any of the Premium Live Events like a Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Backlash, any of those things.”

Reed is currently directionless in WWE after losing in the Intercontinental Championship battle royale that took place on Monday’s RAW. We will have to wait and see what comes next for Bronson.
