Recently, CM Punk has been reported to return to All Elite Wrestling with AEW Collision. However, the announcement for the show came and went with no sign of the Chicago native. It was reported that the deal had stalled due to Punk changing his mind, and now the deal is once again up in the air.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shared insights from individuals at Warner Bros Discovery, stating that their belief is that there will be an attempt to resolve the situation.
“From the WBD side – because nobody from the AEW side has talked about this at all, nor confirmed any of this – from the WBD side, they have said that their belief is that there will be an attempt to work it out.
“They’re hopeful that they work it out, that it’s not a dead deal.”

We will have to wait and see if Punk will make his way back to AEW but for now he will remain on hiatus.
