Dakota Kai has once again dealt with a debilitating knee injury.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Dakota Kai suffered a torn ACL on the May 12 episode of WWE SmackDown, in the same match where Liv Morgan suffered a recent shoulder injury.
Kai is currently scheduled to undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair the damage, with a long stint on the shelf ahead of her.
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles were vacated as a result of Liv Morgan’s injury. Dakota’s Damage CTRL Teammates, Bayley and IYO SKY, will take part in the match to decide the new champions next Monday on RAW.
