Mercedes Mone has suffered a serious injury at NJPW Resurgence.
During Resurgence, Mercedes competed twice. She would face Willow Nightingale in her second match of the night, and came down awkwardly during a spot on her ankle. While she completed the match, Mone could not put weight on her foot and was carried to the back after the finish.
PWInsider reports that the word going around backstage is that Mone suffered a broken ankle. Mone commented on her injury on social media.
