Vince McMahon Demanded Saraya Wear Purple When She Was Called Up To The WWE Main Roster

Vince McMahon had a strange demand for when Saraya made her way to the WWE main roster after WrestleMania 30.

Saraya made her main roster debut on the RAW after WrestleMania 30, defeating AJ Lee to capture the WWE Divas Championship. She would debut in purple gear, something different for the “Anti-Diva”.

While speaking on the Mark Hoke Show, Saraya talked about her time on the WWE main roster. 

“It was Triple H who was the one like pitching for me to go on the main roster and Vince (McMahon) was like, ‘Fine! But she has to wear purple’ and that was it. So I had to get my purple wrestling gear and I slowly transitioned back into the black again eventually and he didn’t notice again.”

Like Saraya mentioned, it did not take long for her to revert back to her all black gear that set her apart from much of the WWE Women’s roster.

Currently, Saraya is signed to All Elite Wrestling and is seen as the leader of The Outcasts. We will have to wait and see what comes next for the British star.
