Marriott Hotel Refused To Let Steph De Lander Into Hotel Room, Was Forced Onto The Street At 3am
Steph De Lander and Matt Cardona have called out Marriott Hotels.
For professional wrestlers, a lot of time is spent on the road and living out of hotels in different cities as they traverse the country. Sometimes however, hotels can prove to be hard to deal with and that was made clear to Steph De Lander last night.
Matt Cardona first took to Twitter to call out Marriott Hotels for not letting Steph into a room he had booked for her in advance.
Hi @Marriott. I booked a hotel room for @stephdelander last night in Uniondale, NY. Your front desk staff wouldn’t let her in. Wouldn’t let her buy her own room. And sent a woman out into the streets at 3 AM by herself! She had no car. How is that ok? Oh and when I just called the hotel about this, Sheldon completely lied to me about the situation.
Matt Cardona
Steph would then quote tweet Cardona’s post, backing up his story.
Spent 2 hours in the middle of the night crying & begging the hotel staff to let me into the room that Matt had booked for me, rang 8 other hotels in the area that were all fully booked, so I was literally stuck in NY at 3am alone with nowhere to go.
@Marriott this isn’t ok
Steph De Lander
We will have to wait and see if De Lander will receive compensation for this horrible experience.
As of this writing, Marriott Hotels have yet to comment bar an automated response in the replies to both tweets.
