Wardlow defended his TNT Championship in a ladder match vs Christian, a master of the ladder match stipulation.
At the beginning of the match, Christian sent Luchasaurus to the back, and from the get go the ladders were brought into the match to be used as a weapon. Early on, Wardlow’s power would be the difference but it did not take long for Christian was able to weasel his way in to taking control of the match.
It did not take too long for Luchasaurus to make his way down to the ring when Wardlow did gain some momentum. This lead to a neckbreaker from a ladder from the challenger.
Christian would try to win, but a pick me up from Arn Anderson lead to Wardlow jumping from the top rope to a ladder, with the ladders rungs snapping under Wardlow’s weight.
At this point, Luchasaurus stepped in, taking out Wardlow momentarily, but after Arn bit his thumb, Wardlow would hit a swanton from a ladder to take out Luchasaurus. Christian would use this as an opportunity to go for the TNT Title with Arn once again getting involved, he would push the ladder, with Christian landing in powerbomb position on Wardlow’s shoulders.
After a vicious powerbomb, Wardlow climbed the ladder and took down the TNT title to retain.
